Sedibe Attorneys was founded by T.M. Sedibe in December 2005 and in March 2009 Sedibe Attorneys was taken over by R.T. Sedibe when T.M. Sedibe joined the Public service in the Department then called the Department of Water Affairs and Forestry. He worked there until 31 May 2017 when he returned to join hands with R.T. Sedibe and the practice became Sedibe Attorneys Incorporated.

Both T.M. Sedibe and R.T. Sedibe have gained a lot of legal experience and expertise in a number of legal fields as fully set out in their individual Curriculum Vitae to which amongst other legal work worth mentioning is the extensive court work experience both Directors have and the vast exposure and experience T.M. Sedibe gained in both Water Law and Environmental Law including the knowledge and understanding of the general application of the legal prescripts in the Public Sector such as Constitutional Law, Administrative Law such as PAJA and PAIA, the Public Finance Management Act, Treasury Regulations, Drafting and Vetting of Contracts.
